Love Rules aka Wedding Gift

Usually for a wedding gift I do an establishment sign, But this time I wanted to do something different. I've seen many different kinds of Love Rules on Google and Pinterest. So I decided to come up with my own combination of love rules for a wedding gift for my cousin. I really like the list I came up with, and I think it's good advice to give to newlyweds and a good reminder. I came up with this list:

say "I love you"

laugh together everyday

be patient & kind with your words

respect each other

kiss good morning, kiss just because, kiss goodnight

hug often

be spontaneous & impulsive

listen to your heart

hold hands every chance you can

always be willing to compromise

never go to bed angry

remember why you fell in love

be the first to say I'm sorry

grow old together

live happily ever after

How I made this:

First, I went to Home Depot and bought some MDF board and had my husband cut it at 16 x 25 inches.

Second, I painted it, both sides, with Glidden's Antique Beige (I bought a sample size, 8 oz., at Home Depot).

Thirdly, I used Brown, Turquoise, and White Vinyl. I cut it out at 15 x 22 (I think) I used different fonts for each rule.

This is what I came up with. I really like what I came up with. Very cute. I want one for myself. Haha. My husband wasn't sure about the white vinyl, he said it was kind of hard to see, but I still like it and I can see it just fine. But you can always change the vinyl colors up. Originally, I was gonna do violet and grey, but I think three colors make it more cute and I just love the color combination. I think pink, brown , and white would be cute too. 

The Family: A Proclamation To The World Tile Piece

 My parents went to an older couple wedding, much older, and wanted to give a gift not to wild and cutesy. Something more for older couples. We figured you can't go wrong with the The Family Proclamation. It's still a cute gift. It's a very unique and special gift especially when older couples already have everything and possibly combining two families into one. Anyways, here's my shop if your interested.

In Case Of Zombies or yard work

I just saw this on Pinterest and had to do it. It's so funny and cute. I love the idea, especially since zombies are "the thing" these days. Maybe I'll do more zombie vinyls for those that are into it.

Candle Decals

I was inspired on a Pin on Pinterest to do vinyl stuff on candles. I thought it was a brilliant idea. I didn't think vinyl could stick to wax, but it can. If your going to put vinyl on candles, it probably a good idea if the candle(s) are for decor only and not to be used. Otherwise, it would be a hassle to cut it every time you use your candle (you  could I guess). Anyways, great decor idea and gift idea also. I only have some decals but I will do more in the future.

Baby Shower Gifts

A couple baby shower gifts ideas. The first idea is "Splish, Splash, I was taking a Bath!" I made this sign, and gave a bunch of baby bath stuff (shampoo, lotion, washclothes, bubblebath, rash cream). But you can add towels, toys. Anything bath related. 

 The second idea is "Baby Napping sign" I was gonna give this at a baby shower, but I decided to make it for my Aunt (who owns a daycare). Instead of Baby Napping, I changed it to Children Napping. There are many different ways and sayings for a baby napping signs. I have a bunch of quotes on my website for it. I decided to use "you wake 'em you take 'em" because it's just fits my Aunt so well. Haha. But there's many different ways. I really like the Baby and Mom Napping ones. Very cute baby shower gift. 

Decals for Plates

Quilting Quotes/Signs

My mom and sisters are very into quilting and sewing. I decided to make a few different vinyl signs to relate to quilting. Although one quote has nothing to do with quilting but my mom insisted on using the quote. I have a whole list of quotes that are related to sewing/quilting, but I only picked two.
