Emergency Preparedness Sign

In my church, I was asked to make the signs for an Emergency Preparedness Activity. My mom, being the coordinator of the event, and I tried to think of a fun theme or way to catch peoples attention and want to entice them. After a lot of brain storming, we came up throwing a Zombie Pandemic theme. I was totally joking but my mom liked the idea. Since zombies are really in right now and we weren't going to make it scariest at all. Make it fun and entertaining for everyone. Anyways, this is the sign I came up with. Something very simple, straight to the point and looks very outdooryish (I know that's not a word haha). I'm not sure if that's the right word to describe it. Anyways, this just gives you an idea, that you can make a lot with vinyl and the idea of the theme for emergency preparedness.

I was asked to make this sign for a Valentine's gift. When I was first asked to do this, I thought it would be too much and too busy. But it turned out a lot cuter than I thought it would. Wasn't very hard to measurement the strips. I was a little off on some place but by nothing. Very unnoticeable. Anyways it gives me ideas to other and future projects. Also below the picture is a cute little sign I made that can relate to love or Valentine's Day.

 

Read me a story, Tuck me in tight, Say a sweet prayer & kiss me goodnight Sign

My two sister-in-laws are having babies in March. I made a boy sign of this saying "Read me a story, tuck me in tight, say a sweet prayer & kiss me goodnight". I made a girl sign with the same saying for my other sister-in-law. Even though they are both having boys, I gave the boy sign as a gift to Jordan and Britney requested one but with girl colors. I'm gonna make Britney a boy vinyl later. Will post soon.

 

Personalized Family Rules Sign

I've always like the family rules signs but I feel like it's the same rules, until I saw a picture of a personalized family rule sign. I loved the idea immediately. I love how you can make each family name different. As soon as I saw it I decided to make one for myself. I made the artwork on the computer but never had the chance to cut it out. Then Christmas was coming up and I needed ideas for gifts. I remembered the artwork I did and made one for my newly married sister-in-law, Jordan. I knew exactly what colors to do and everything. I predicted that she would adore it (and my mother-in-law would be jealous and desire one for herself). My prediction came true. She absolutely loved it. My mother-in-law wanted me to make her one (haha) and my other sister-in-law, Britney, wants one too. So I tried very hard to make them all different. There are a couple of the same rules on each board but for the most part their all unique. When the time comes for me to finally do myself one of this boards I will try to but it very personal and unique. Love the idea. It's kind of hard to sell something like this but I can make one if your interested. I can come up with the rules my myself or you can provide them for me.
